KAUNERGRAT NATURE PARK
SWIM
We live in a beautiful natural paradise and have several 3,000-meter peaks around us.
If you don't want to climb the summit on foot, you can take the Wildspitzbahn lift to our viewing platform at 3,440 meters above sea level without any effort.
The Pitztal is famous for its many different hiking routes.
Our interactive hiking map provides an overview, makes planning easier and shows the countless possibilities that the Pitztal has to offer.
HIKING TIPS
You don't have to overdo it on holiday, so I like the short hikes to the waterfalls that the Pitztal has to offer in many ways.
For example the "Pfitschebach", which is wonderful to reach from us.
The impressive spectacle can best be observed on the accessible platforms.
I recommend a hike along our Pitze stream, perfect for acclimatization. The 38 km valley hiking trail leads through the entire valley. If you don't want to go any further, just get on the next bus and drive back.
Or the " Luis-Trenker-Steig " circular hiking trail. The path leads through the Pitzenklamm, along the creek bed and over a 94m high suspension bridge.
Small alpine hikes:
Gletscherstube, Taschachalm, Tiefentalalm, Arzleralm, Neubergalm
Hut hikes for "beginners":
Rüsselsheimerhütte, Ludwigsburgerhütte, Rifflseehütte
A jump into the cool water is always possible with us.
But the Pitztal has water in abundance!
The small mountain bathing lake and the Stillebach Kneipp facility are idyllically located under a waterfall just 2 km away .
You can walk to it in just 15 minutes.
Another natural swimming pond with diving towers and a playground can be found in Pitzpark Wenns (15 km).
The Imst outdoor swimming pool is also ideal for a day of swimming.
You will find the ultimate in water fun in AREA 47
It is not a swimming lake for non-swimmers and small children - it is a crazy hodgepodge of curious trend sports and crazy water action.
Here you will find the fastest water slide in Europe, blobbing, cannonball and slip and slide water jumps.
